   I noticed that the Model 98 had a type of ribbing to it.  Is this a type of built-in (small scale) expansion chamber-type thing?  
My idea is that the valve should have an oval shaped reciever so that it acts as an internal expansion chamber...  Wouldn't that be cool?  (And cheap)

	Those are usually reffered to as "gills", and all they are is milling.
