guitar accessory advice needed

     So christmas is coming around the corner, and im looking for something to buy my brother. He playes acoustic, and hes actually really good (playing for 18 years now). he was talking to me about the pedal that you can use when playing. now i know zero about guitars, so if any of you can provide a link to one of those pedals that can be used with his acoustic guitar, that would be great. btw, i know they cant be used with full acoustic guitars, but he has the kind that you can plug into an amp and such, i think its a takamine something or other, costed like 800.
 sorry if i sound like a retard, all i know about guitars is that they use strings.

	Haha, how much are you looking to spend, as there are a variety of pedals. I'll look you one up for around your price range, they vary from $40- $500 EDIT--I have a Takamine too, it's my main guitar. Edited by tippy_182

	i havent even thought about price. hes a great guitarist, and he deserves something good, but there are times he doesnt get to play often cause of the air force consuming all his time. im basically looking for a mid range pruduct, or if you know a company thats trusted for making good products then i could do my own research.
