if you can afford it then buy it. its a great barrel. 3/5 mentioned by stonehurler are even worth considering: trueflight and whisper are not good barrels. you might want to look into a barrel kit like the pipe system too. $150+ pipe kit, poison products* [Angel or cocker only] $100-149- JJ edge kit, boomstick, titanium products longbow $50-$99- Evil Driver, All American Under $50 JJ ceramic |

^That would be the one. you have to realize that the people who buy those things have only used it and the stock barrel and have no real idea what a good aftermarket barrel shoots like. anyway an 8/10 really isnt that good. try looking for anything other than autococker stuff that is lower than a 7.

What are you putting the barrel on? Putting a freak kit or boomstick on a $100 marker doesn't make awhole lot of sence. In a word the boomstick is arguably in the top four barrels of all time. Also might want to look at all the reviews to get a better idea of what you need to try out. Try www.pbreview.com

I would have to say the all american or the freak. I see questions such as why. I will review the all american for you. The all american barrel puts less stress then other barrels on the balls. It deosn't deform it like some barrel can do. Making it shoot starter. And its made very perfectly in the inside making you have better consistancy and accuracy. It is 2 peices so if it for some reasons break you don't have to buy a WHOLE new barrel. Also the all american has tips which insures even more accuracy and consistany. The lapco bigshot beadblasted is 50 bucks. Why not buy the best it will save you in the long run. I have been playing for 2 years and learned that in about 2 months. You might as well save up and get the top of the line stuff.

The boomstick is not worrth the money. Get the new ultralight, its cheaper, and is now two piece, and lighter than the boomstick. Shoots exactly the same.
BTW where are you from on long island |
