I own a 98c I've herd rumors that th 98c is better than the a-5 because it is more customizable I've also herd that the a-5 is better because it has a cyclone feeder and shoots faster. I think that the a-5 is the better gun. so can somebody tell me the final anwser?

It's all about personal preference. The question you need to ask is: what would be best for how I play? And as for rumors, find someone who has an A-5 so you can compare yours and theirs for yourself, and make up your own mind. |

The .68 Carbine was my favorite. I have used A5, 98, and Carbine.
But anything you can do to the 98c you can do to the A5. It is all about preference. Some really dont like the cyclone feed system. They have had problems with it. |

98 Custom.
Lower Profile, lighter, and is extremly easy to mod. the only thing I can think that the A5 has over the 98c is Field Stripping... |

its all personal preferance. I have shot 98's, 98c's, Procarbines and A-5's, personally I prefer the A-5 but a former G/F I had swears her 98c is way better...... though Ive proved to her that I can kick her *** on hte field any day with my A-5

okay, thats great they did so well with the 98, but why would they make a gun and say it is there best gun when it isnt. They made the A-5 with better tech. than the 98. They made a better gun. Why would you make a worse gun than what you already had? |

they made the A-5 to be Affordable for rec ballers and if they wanna
get a faster gun tehy just need maybe 110 bucks for e grip or less for
a rt but with the 98 and want it to be tourny llegal they would need e
bolt 290 some dollarrs plus a hopper that can keep up maybe 50 - 70
dollars

Personally, I think the 98 custom has more potential. The A-5 while better stock, can't get any real hopper upgrades at all. The cyclone feed will not stop busts completely. A warp feed (ungodly expensive as it is) will. But, as for the common recball player, the stock A-5 has many more advantages over the stock 98 custom.

98's, because they have more upgrading potential, and the a-5's are heavy, and they are air hogs, only 700 shots from 20oz co2, personally 98s are better, but a-5s are better feild stripp wise

I have shot both, and i deffinately prefer the a-5 over the 98 or 98c. People say the cyclone feed sticks out to much, but i hardly get hot in the hopper. I kinda like the simplicity of the cyclone feed. With the egrip, the a5 is a complete monster.
