if you rele wanted to do that you could take a 45 degree elbow and chop that up the make it a 90 degree elbow and curve it on the inside then attach those little 10 round pods they use for pistol reloads, rip those out when you run out of ammo in 1 pod and throw another in. that could work liek you want for a pretty cheap price. or you could start playing with the stock class phantoms

A5, egrip, cp barrel kit, check it asa, etc

I believe Tippmann did make a side magazine-fed marker years ago, the SMG-60? Not sure if the names right, but it was full auto too. Looking for something...

Ok, heres what I'm looking for:

"In 1985, Tippmann Pneumatics introduced the SMG-60 (later converted to the SMG-68), which could fire up to 20 balls with a single trigger pull.it was met with mixed reviews...after having learned that once the clip was emptied the user was vulnerable as the SMG could take well over a minute to reload." -Complete guide to Paintball, 3rd Edition, pg.119

If anyone can confirm this, I believe it was also first produced in .62 caliber.

A reason why a side fed magazine isn't good:

The British Sten (there are others, but nobody's heard of a Lanchester or a S1-100) had this problem, along with other side fed Sub-machine guns, but it causes excess stress on the magazine springs, plus increases the chance of misfiring. But if you could find a way to combat these problems, cool.
