i think this would be cool.you take out your front grip, and the bipod fits into the thing and has a hole for the screw.it would eliminate problems with barrel/bipod compatability

Well, go get one, mod it to fit it and come back and show us, but not in here....only in the Marker Gallery.

lol....

Hmmm... the only problem I could think of, is if you wanted to hold the marker suspended in the air, instead of laying it on the ground...

Holding the marker would be a bit awkward in this case if you have no handguard. Now, if you're using a flatline, or a kit with handguards included, then go for it- but you're gonna take some 'n00b sniper!' flak for having a bipod mounted. Nonetheless, if you want to try it out, don't let what anyone says stop you. The foregrip is a decent place to mount one so that you can reach it easily and collapse it if need be. Though honestly, in the military when we're advancing through our attack with the M249s, we just never bother folding it up, as we're always up, forward a few meters, then down again and in firing position- as long as you have a durable bipod and it's mounted solidly, you can actually use it as an impromptu foregrip if you have to.

Yup, he actually said that.

brihard,, ture dat but..

i dont think u would get noob sniper flack,, think of an m60 or a minimi,,
they all have bipods,, and most bipods will fold forwards and retract..i
mean, its not the most comfotable grip but hey,, who said war was
comfotable.

Harris makes a bipod with a center spread plate that will accept your grip. Its big wide and clunky though. Shootin Instuctor friend of mine has it on a match grade rifle and he tried it on his 98C.
