Same questions, still waiting for replys for more help. And more generally, do you hear the leak or see gas escaping? Does it come out the barrel, out of the body or out from around the tank / CO2 connection? |

Buy some oil at your local paintball store. They run about 4-12 bucks.

You will need paintball gun oil (Hoppes #9 or marker oil) and also spare tank o-rings at least 5 or so to start with as spares. You can still follow all the rest except the cvx screw step. If this is a brand new gun and oil and o-ring does'nt help you may want to try your manual, they usually have troubleshooting leaks in them. Also give tech. support a call if needed.

Hi, What type of gun? If it's a Tippman put a few drops of oil in your ASA hole and replace your tank o-ring. You should always cock your gun before scewing you tank on. If it still leaks find out where it is leaking from. If tank, look for messed up threads, dents, burrs on the shoulders and flats of tank and inside asa. File, sand and/or deburr carefully as needed. If leak is in gun, is it line going into gun or inside gun? If it's the line teflon tape threads and retighten. If it's inside, check cvx valve screws for tightness (two screws on side of gun). If it still leaks you may need a valve kit or new valve. Hope this helps. Good luck. Edited by Liquid3 |
