I have been posting a lot of topics in here asking if I should get a Impulse or a Bushy, etc.
Well... Its come down to this...

I have a choice between a DM4 or PROTO MATRIX
I like the PROTO because it is cheaper and I like the milling, but the DM4 is also a really good gun...

So, I want to know which one to go with... I someone could help then that would be great... Thnax.

i think tha dm5 iz a good gun but ive played wit my friends dm4 and itz a good gun i couldnt shoot that fast because im so use to my tippman A5 with electro grip but i have to go with the dm5

Like you said both are good guns but the Proto is a little smaller and its cheaper. I would say the Proto Matrix.

I would go with the Proto cause it does look a little better, imo, and it is cheaper/lighter. Good luck!

actually you can change the board in a proto - most ramping boards for a dm5 will also work in the proto

^^ Nope. Not even close.

1. There are no DM4/5 ramping Boards. There are
replacement chips.

2. DM4/5 and Proto boards are not compatible with each other.

3. You can in no way put a DM4/5 Chip in a Proto trix.

4. Proto boards are flashed instead of using a removable chip.
You can send your proto to the matrix center to get it flashed
with the Tadao 3.0 programing. As of now thats the only option.

If the proto could take the DM4/5 board, which means it could
take the eyes as well, then I dont think anyone would even
consider getting a DM4

 Personally I like the DM4 but if you aren't sure then go to www.pbreview.com and see what people have to say there.
