Sounds like your headed in the right direction. Alot of woods/scenario players get the RT as a firepower upgrade. I dont know if you have though about it, but it is a nice upgrade. Along with that they get an electric loader like a 12v revvy or Ricochet AK. The other upgrades sound good. |

Look into the J&J Ceramic barrels, and the Lapco Bigshots. (14" - 16" is good)

looks like you have good upgrades so far. get a j&j or a lapco bigshot barrel. Then get the r/t for a firepower upgrade.

Well i have thought about the R/T but i decided that i really wouldnt have alot of use for it, ( from what i know about it) I mean i dont shoot alot, i take my time with each shot. And the BT barrel i thought about that also but im not sure how good that barrel shots so i want a barrel that i know is dependable when i buy it! What else does R/T do?

Well the R/T is a little piston behind the trigger. When fired, gas powers the piston and it pushes the trigger back into the firing position. When properly tuned, you can just keep pressure on the trigger and the trigger will "bounce" back and forth creating a full auto effect.

Any Lapco barrel will do great. They are all very accurate. You also might want a remote or drop forward for your carstock.

flatline and a fake clip would look awesome together, with the flatty foregrip it would look like a assault rifle.foldin stock with RVA,hand rail is good, try to get a large one to look realistic, those tiny ones look really stupid IMO,r/t,if you dont want a flatty get a J&J or bigshot, look into one of those m-16 style barrel thingys, the rikochet hoppers are good theyre lower profile and they look kool.as for the red dot sight, you dont need it for aiming, actually its a bad idea to use as an aiming device.if its just for looks,go ahead, but a scope for spotting isnt a bad idea.maybe a fake supressor instead of a forearm style grip,if you can find one for a 98 idk, theres lots of thing you could do,check out www.englerpaintballguns.com they got some awesome stuff

bipod would just wiegh done the front of ur gun while u were movin. a good barrel is a dye boomstick. i love mine and would get any other barrel ( well maybe a flatline if i could get one for about $50) but i dont think that will happen also the r/t is a great upgrade even if u dont shoot alot u never know when u may get into a big shoot out and wished u would have got it when u had the chance. |

Hey guys, thank you for all of your help. So far this is what i have decided.
Custom Products One piece Barrel 14 " (Black) Red Dot sight, Im NOT going to get a bipod, or a handrail. I thought about it and i would use but but i wouldnt NEED it because of yes weight and would get in the way some times, i could use a tree or what ever. thank you every one! |

CP barrels are pretty good, but id suggest a J&J Ceramic, or Lapco Bigshot. those are the best (normal) woodsball barrels out there, and easily under $40. an RT is also a good idea. you can tune them low for a slower ROF so as not to shoot to much. and it sounds like a grease gun or some other old sub-machine gun. which feels and sounds great in woods and scenario play. and you can get them for under $90. then you will need a new hopper. Veiwloader Revolutions have the perfect speed for RTs and can be founder under $40. hey Adam, does your last name happen to be "Penny"? Edited by triggerhappy1 |

Look at my sig. I am a woodsball player. Everything comes in good use. The R/T is great and I would consider it vital. The R/T is also very useful when there are bushes and other objects in the way. The Halo B can be overkill but I decided to go ahead and buy it so that when I get another gun, I won't have to buy another hopper. If you are very active and get dirty with mud and other things, you might want to consider the Rocket Cock. It helps keep all the unwanted things out of the gun. All external parts do not move with the Rocket Cock. Most important is the Flatline. The Flatline is probably what I owe all my success to. It fires the ball a guaranteed extra 100 ft. Almost all the people I play with that have Tippmanns will have the Flatline because its amazing distant accuracy. The only downfall about the Flatline is that the barrel has to be aligned correctly or the balls will shoot left or right. This can also be used as an advantage if somone is hiding behind a tree. Just turn your gun sideways and the ball will curve right around the tree and hit the target. The last thing that can be very helpful is an expansion chamber. Expanson chambers expand liquid co2 into a gas form. This can be very helpful if you live in a cold place. You can also get an antisiphon installed into your tank. An antisiphon is a tube put in the tank wich faces away from the liquid so all that enters the gun, is a gas. Flatline= $115 R/T= $80-90 Rocket Cock= $20 Halo B with rip drive= $150 antisiphon= $15-20 expansion chamber= $60 it really depends what you want That is all I can say that would be good for woodsball. |
