I just ordered an A5 with an rt and a flatline. I want to use a stock and a remote with it. I have tried the Car stock at the pro shop, and I dont like the way it wobbles where it attaches to the marker at all. I have been told that most Car stocks are prone to do that. I would like to have a stock that is pretty rigid. I kinda like the folding JCS design, but I haven't handled one yet, so i don't know how much it wobbles. Which is the best stock for the A5?
Thanks for any help, The Reiver |

the JCS folding stock is the best choice. alone it has very little wobble. but unfortuanly, you can not stop the wobble on the a-5 without mods, due to the feild strip snap screws. they jusr arent strong enough to keep it solid. but what you can do, is get some good old fashioned nuts and bolts and replace them. that should keep it solid. just find the closest match, and put them in. but dont tighten the one that goes through the handle too much. its only plactic and may break. |

oh yeah and do what he did with the screws to prevent wobble, it sounds like a good idea.

Even better idea to fix wobble- get a tank o-ring, heat it up a bit with a lighter, then stretch it over the round end where the spring goes in. Then push as hard as you can, and tap in the field strip pins. This will make the stock completely wobble free, but it also pretty much removes the field strip as you will need some tools to get them out. I use the handle of needle nose pliers which are rubber coated to hammer the pins in.

The G3 Stock is relatively wobble free. Its not folding or collapsing but one of the better stocks.

Hey man I have that same car stock that you bought and my wobbles too and when it wobbles you lose velocity when you fire meaning your paintball wont shoot as far as it normally would...There is one simple soultion to this problem...Go to you local paintball store (if you have one) and have them drill it and put a bigger screw in and have them put a O-Ring in also so it doesnt wobble...If they are cool they wont charge you anything but just slip em like $10 if they fix your **edited** cause they fixed mine and it doesnt wobble at all...It's perfect!!!
