yeah you guys are probably right tippmann would get paid or something but if someone took my product and changed a few things and called it their own id at least want some recognition.it is pretty cool that even the police know that tippmann is reliable and want to use their guns instead of a spyder or even a cocker or something

They probably pay tippmann alot of money to use their markers. It like the Fords the police use- Crown Victoria is made by Ford but the police Crown Vic you see is not the same exact car, they come with an inteceptor package that gives it better handling, braking, and acceleration. Ford makes those off a special assembly line that comes complete down to the lights and radio, all the department has to do is paint it. Ford makes millions upon millions every year from the government buying their vehicles, tippmann is probably doing the same.

they probly know...but see thats what the govt does...it takes things that are made by civilans and then changes a few things then puts it out to its people as a new, difrent product...its nothing new...they have been doing that for ever...but yea, im usre tippmann is well aware of what the police are using their markers for...and think about it this way...if your markers were being used to keep the peace and stuff...would you make a big fuss over if they change the name even if everyone already knows what they are? i wouldnt...i would kinda feel a little proud that they though the design was good enough for their use...

Evil fingers has a good point.  I'm the guy thats studing to be a cop.  And there is no way I would take the pepperballs on the paintball field.  There are reasions they are only sold to law enforcement.  For anyone who has been around pepper spray knows its not a fun thing.  All around this is a bad idea.  Curly also bring up a good point, but there may be a standing agreement of some sort between the law enforcement community, and Tippmann.  But I personally don't know anything about that.  Pepperballs were not made to be added to the sport of paintball.  Lets end this post, there isn't anything else to be said.

It sucks being antisocial alone.

Just FYI pepper balls if they break inside the barrel and you don't clean it right away they pit aluminum and corode steel. My wife is a nurse in a county jail and they use the pepper balls and they constanly have problems with their guns (Tippmann Carbines). And they are very expensive about $500 a case of 2000. They also have .68 cal rubber balls that they shoot, and their guns are set for about 600 fps.

Actually, it's idiots who play paintball without masks and the like that gives the entire sport the bad name.  You're more than welcome to wound yourself horribly while trying this, just don't attract publicity.

If some feels the urge to find out what does a pepper ball feels like when it comes into contact of the human skin....let me know, I can shoot you wit pepper spray (Im certified to carry pepper spray) which gives the same effect as do wit pepper balls but, wit not welts.....you'll be cryin your ass off once it gets in contact wit your eyes and skin, try rubbin it off will make it worse than before, your skin will turn extremely red like an apple and your eyes will be so blood shot, people will think you are possessed and if you have asthma, watch out, your on your way to the hospital due to respitory complications due to the chemicals added wit the pepper ball, liquid or dry form.

And for those that are studying to be a cop, dont try it, the last thing you want is a blemish on your record as a peace officer and no deparment would hire you for your misconduct....you'll wind up as a wash out cus, you thought using pepper balls in paintballing is cool to use, even by doing that, you would be hurting the sport that we all come to enjoy.

The pepper balls are harder than regular paintballs and the power behind the balls are doubled. My uncle (cop) told me that when they shot a medal trash can, they left some serious dents.

Yeah, I see them in USCav, along with the $600 Pro-Carbine . Pepperballs are really pricy, in the thousands for one case I believe.
It seems like all the cool cats do this:
Custom 98, Flatline, r/t, CAR stock, custom camo paintjob, which every hopper I feel like putting on it, vertical adapter, oh dibs, I'm running out of charact

I have a magazine that sells things to law enforcement and to military, and their in their. why would you want to buy them? they explode into a big cloud of pepper spray on impact, and if the cloud goes up into a paintball players mask, it would be like pumping tear gas into a guys helmet. He wont be able to breath, and his eyes will be burning out of his skull. It would have a terrible affect if shot into someones mask...

and yes, only cops can get them. I no that as an absolute fact.
