Well the best gun out there right now is probably the 98c because of the upgrade choices u might wanna use the 300bo's to get a 98c and.....that would leave u with.....150bo's to get a new barrel and maybe a halo b, l8rzzz

nice barrel choice...i've got one myself...get an 98 custom and a good 60-70$ electro hopper. It all really depends on what your playing...speedball or woodsball.

you can send your m98 to the tippmann proshop and theyll swap the receiver halves for 98c halves and install and r/t,all for $120.but r/t isnt speedball legal so you can get ebolt retro fitted, but i'd just get the 98c conversion, its cheaper than buying a new 98c and you get and r/t for when you play woods,or something idk but its cheaper than a new 98c anyway, then you got $180 left over, save up a few more bucks and get an HPA tank,or get a palmers stabilizer and spend $80 on a nice hopper.theres some choices for you to think about

An x-chamber is to allow CO2 to expant before entering the gun,
preventing liquid co2 from getting in your gun and messing things
up. You need a vertical adapter to use one, and it replaces your
front grip.
Get a drop forward no matter what you play, its just so comfortable I love mine to death (except for the bad ASA). |

I have some huge advice. This sounds stupid to you maybe but you need to sell the model 98. They can't even have double triggers on them! Keep the J&J though because it will fit on the 98 custom. You have 300 bucks so I know if you sell it and need another 20-30 bucks then you have it. You can have a world of upgrades for the 98c and only a few for the model 98.

u could drop the 50$ on 98 custom halfs. And then u swap the internals. Buy them on www.countypaintball.com . Then buy the rt, a drop, a revy and ur set
