waz board for A5??

hello, a buddy of mine heard that warped sportz is making a waz board for the e grip on an A5,anybody here know if its true. thanx

yea i hered tippmann is making parts to make the cyclone feed faster i dont kno if its true but the was bored is supposed to b out march 1st

The W.A.S. board (Wicked Air Sports) does not come out till March 1st or so w.a.s. says on their site. The new board will have a adjustable cap up to 30bps and still keep all the same firing modes as the E-Grip. They also say its only reliable up to 17bps on a A-5. They say anything above 17bps you'll start skipping. I have heard Tippmann is working on a kit to upgrade the cyclone, but i can not get any kind of info on that from Tippmann. I am getting a new w.a.s. board for my A-5 the day it comes out and will post some testing info on it then. Their are some trick mods you can do to get alittle more out of your cyclone, i will play with the system and test the bps i can get and report it.

Hm.. After getting past the caps lock being stuck and needing to translate some of the words back into normal english I still can't say I even come close to agreeing with this post.

The only time my A5 ever chopped was before I had the upgraded cyclone combined with extreemly brittle paint (couldn't even use a revy hopper with it). I've seen the RT and e-grip maxed out and used the RT myself. So either you've never used either and are making it up, had some really crappy paint and an old cyclone, or have something else wrong with your marker that you need to send to tippmann for repairs. I doubt its the last option.

u cant, the cyclone will not spin more than 17bps without skipping shots.  unless tippmann comes out with cyclone modifications, then you will have to mill off the cyclone and get vert feed and a really fast hopper.

^ yeah, first youd have to go through the milling process which is a pain in the butt, then spend about a $100 bucks on vert feed, the $140 bucks for a halo with some kind of faster board, then youd have to pay $100 bucks for the actual WAS board.  it would cost a lot of money.  the biggest issue would be not messing up the milling or the vert feed.

Well, i can max out my E-Grip very easy. A E-Grip is capped at a max rate of 15bps. I can personally walk much faster than that, but im held back by the gun (e-grip board).

yea and an e bolt and a $100 hopper and a center feed,

with all that money u can buy yourself an auto cocker.

the board is adjustable from 10-30 BPS. yes it is a rip off for the a-5cause it wll only add 2 or 5 bps at the most. but if u want to spend that much money on a 98 custome and the board then go ahead. or u can just buy the 98 pro wen tippmann releases it and then get the board and hopper it should save u a couple hundred bucks.

yea tippmann will be releasing the 98 pro and A-5 pro sometime mid march.
