I think Tippmann needs to bring a gun to the market that keeps up with autocockers dyes and all those guns. Sure if you spend 150 dollars you can get the egrip. But make it come stock on the gun, with all the regulators, something like a dye. If Tippmann made a marker simular to the autocockers with its same Tippmann durability and same features or better, Tippmann would be #1 on the paintball market for sure. I always hear this quote" Tippmann's are great gun's in durability in all but they just can't keep up speed"

Dye, autocockers, and tippmann, are three completely different things, and hopefully will stay different.

EDIT: and about your last choice..the Dye guns such as the DM3/DM4/DM5 or the other matrixes are semi- and so are most autocockers.

Sadly, many new or inexperienced players, rather than taking the time and making the errot to improve their own marksmanship and proficiency, instead throw cash at the problem and invest in high rates of fire as a crutch. This is unfortunate, because they never really develop the same skills that a player would who plays with a mechanical semi or even a pump, and has to learn to make shots count, and to sue tactics adn strategy. Look at the Speedball team the Blowfish- they use pump guns exclusively, and I've seen video of them cleaning the floor with speedball teams throwing out amssive rates of fire, all because they cna fire that single shot with deadly accuracy. That ONLy comes with practice, and an intimate knowledge of your marker and its capabilities. Don't go the route of investing in pure rate of fire. First, playa s much as you can and learn to shoot instinctively and accurately. Then, tweak and upgrade your marker for ACCURACY- a better abrrel, a regulated air source, etc. Then, by the time you finally dump the cash for that e-grip and Halo-B hopper, you'll find you don't even always need the massive rate of fire, ebcause you're hitting the guy by your third shot while he throws a line of paint at you that just clean misses.

I'm far more respectful of a player who can shoot two balls a second accurately than I am of one who can shoot 20 without much ability to hit anything. I'd rather have a good player on my team than one with a lot of money to compensate for lack of skill.

Yup, he actually said that.
