ok so i take m a-5 apart and on one half of the gun when u split it has a scratch on it<the 2 main pieces that hold all the internals ect>..dont ask how im completely clueless i dont stick things in my barrel.... just dont ask. the scratch makes it alittle rough. im concerned its gonna tear up the first black blot and its o-ring. can i sand the side to smooth it out or is there some kind of finish on the sides? this sucks :[ thanks

You shouldnt be concerned. Unless its a slash thats sticking up. Even if its slighly sticking up, it shouldnt cause any scratch worse than it. If you want you can LIGHTLY sand it down if its sticking up. Be carefull not to sand much if any of the inner receiver half.

Like he said, there isnt really any inside finish. Just some powdercoat and overspray which is actualy better not being there. But try not to sand into the aluminum much anyway.
