Last night i got an Xobx, i got 3 controllers all the hook ups, the DVD controller and sensor, and the headset, and 4 games for $120.00. The games are Chronicles of Rid**edited**, SSX 3, X-men Legends, and Tony Hawk underground 1. Nothing really great but i was wondering if some of you could reccomend some good games for the box. This is my first Xbox i had a PS2 but it died for no reason im gonna buy another one but wanted an xbox too.. so yea.

What kinds of games are you into? I'm not so into sports, so can't help you there, but I like a lot of others.

My friend highly recommends Mercenaries. It's a big, blow-the-crap-out-of-it game.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is a hell of a good RPG. It's a bit older, but you're free to do whatever you'd like in the game.

If you're into Mech games then the MechAssault games are fun. I have MAII but haven't had much chance to play it yet. Much more advanced than MAI, which is like an arcade shooter with mechs.

If you're REALLY into Mech games then Steel Battalion is a great game. Play it before you buy it, it's not for everybody. It's sequel is on x-box live.

Driving games, eh? I'm not so into them, but my friend, and consumate video gamer, is very much into them. He has to change his underwear when he sees ads for Gran Turismo 4. I can ask him about some other games when I see him next.

I have a unique problem when it comes to video games. My fiance collects them. She's obsessed. She doesn't really play them, but she insists on getting them if they look neat. She's a collector. Before I met her it was movies, now games. I have well over a hundred games, and I haven't had the chance to play anywhere near all of them. It's overload. I seek no pity, only understanding at the raw irony of my situation. Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink. I need more time in the day.

Yeah, Greg Hastings' is pretty sweet. Be sure to get Xbox Live.

Also, if you're willing to pay $5 USD monthly, get Phantasy Star Online. Best RPG you'll ever play.

Yea.  Get Halo CE if you just want to play campaign.  Get Halo2 if you want to play Xbox Live.  Or get both.  They are both fun.

True, they are both fun, but halo two the levels are smaller seemed like they were dumbed down, you cant get lost. A lot of the levels were inside, in halo one, they are mostly outside, and when they were inside, it was very wide open.
