I am definitely getting a new marker, but i cant seem to choose....i have held and shot them all....and the ion is ehh....but the other 2 are close in comparison.....im looking for like how much maintenence is required and if the thing if gonna choke on me or not....i have heard bad about some bushys but...i would like that to be clarified.

EDIT: Reason would help to....but if not jsut poll i guess lol...and please no choosing just because ur a SP or a IC wh*re.....

I own a B2K4 w/ PDS, and believe me....it is definatlely awesome. Compared to the price of a vision imp($300 for the Bushy vs. $500 for the Imp) its very nice, and the eyes are breakbeam instead of reflective, which means the are very dependable with all colors of paint. Also, it has a faster board(36 BPS vs. 20 BPS)    I say go with the B2K4 since they are dropping in price almost everyday, and they soon will be gone. They are awesome and wont let you down.
I Have a B2K and a 98c.

I have too agree with Kpoofs. Get the B2K4 w/pds. They also look better than the Impulses too.

i have heard people saying things about the bushys crapping out on them and basically falling apart at times...is this true?

One of my friends has a B2K4, and it breaks almost everytime we go out, but 99% of the time its a 5 minute fix or less.
You call the Eagle, Eagle does the rest.

My neighbor had a BKO. It NEVER worked. I mean NEVER. He sent it in to ICD to be fixed, and they had it for 3 whole months. And they SENT IT BACK BROKEN. I dont think ICD guns are reliable, except maybe for the freestlye.

Impulses are out of date. Too big/heavy, and just not as good as other guns out in the price range.

ION. Cheap, reliable, break-beam eyes. If you get the new KMP Predator II board, it will get up to 25+ bps with stock internals. And if you dont like the looks of it, they are coming out with new body styles soon! For more info on the ION, go to ZDS Paintball.

Resident SP fan rockin the Shocker.

BKO's aren't as dependable as ICD's other guns...they are just a cheap electropneumatic and i dont reccomend them but my b2k4 has never broken....some people just get lemons

^actually its capped at 17, i would definatly get the ion, why would u need to shoot faster than 17 besides showing off. Its small, light (extrememly), there are upgrades coming out for it everyday, and what other marker has break beam eyes for a price of $285?

ion...well the stock trigger it SH**..it snaped into on my proshop ...but that because all this big guys where going hard on it...b2k4 well i dont knwo about that all ive seen was a guy freestyle and WOW thats nice...but i havnt hear to many thing bad about the b2k4 so i say that..

The B2k4 is better then both the Impy and the ION. The B2k is pretty reliable and fast. Also the PDS eye system is alot better then the trashy SP eye system that only works half the time.

hmmm....maybe the ion isnt too bad of a choice....i am just questioning why it is SO cheap....i mean...if you guys all say they are better why arent ions more than or equal to impys??

 

EDIT: Also, can ions run on high pressure comp air? and do they accpet impulse triggers/barrels/ other accesories?

You guys are really sawying me towards the ion because of the price and the overall awesomeness of it lol....but those few questions and ill be good to go!

the ion has Imp barrel thread so no problem finding barrels

Ion is cheaper then the Imp becasue the Imp is made out of a block of metal and cut and modles and other crap.

The Ion isn't made of plastic liek people say, if anyone says that they havn't shot one.

The Ion is made of a polymer kinda like rubber and it's also very light.

I have an Imp and I'm going to sell it for an Ion. I've shot both and prefer the Ion

It's lighter and faster with stock board, plus more boards will soon come out.

People say "It's capped at only 17" thats couse they don't know how fast 17bps is, empties a normal hopper in little less then 10 seconds. But 3rd party vboards are coming out to crank up the speed.

Ion is the Tippy of the electronic gun world...
