So, my DM5 finally showed up. It's the nicest gun I've owned yet, I totally love it. The Ion is going to see more time as a loaner and back up now for sure, but it's still too sweet to give up, despite all the local offers I've been getting. And I'm a cheater, so of course these guns both ramp. The Ion does it stock, but for the DM5, I had to get a Virtue chip. The thing is unbeleivably fast, and the modes are great, I'm digging PSP and Breakout the most.

SWEET DM5. should have gotten a proto! (cheaper) but the dm5 has some more features

Once you walk the Trigger a certain speed, it kicks it up to another speed while you maintain the ROF to get it kicked up to the higher ROF. Confused

So, you shoot 9bps ont he ion, but with ramping it will kick it up to 15 or 17bps (what ever max ROF is set to) and will continue that speed untill you have no paint, or you drop beloew a steady 9bps.
