Hi, i was reading on model98.net about trigger stops. But how do they make your gun better? I'm considering doing this mod for my A-5 but i wanna know how it works before i do it.

Thanks

It prevents you from over-pulling your trigger in which causes you too shorten the time before you fire the next shot.

on the 98's and custom pro, (I have never looked at the internals of the A-5) but i was thinking of a trigger stop that goes inside the gun. I was thinking of putting something where people will replace the stock spring with a pen spring. I was thinking of having a little piece like a filed down nail to put under the spring so you don't over pull.

What do you guys think?

i realised that doing the trigger stop mod for the A-5 wouldn't work the way a 98's would, so i stuck a nail, or screw i dontr what they're called, and screwed it in, in would most likely work, but i dont have any of the right screws, so im hooped

EDIT: I stuck the screw in the R/T hole

Thats the same way it is for the 98C's with a single trigger.

If you have a double trigger just put a crew through the trigger gaurd.
A-5
E-Grip
JCS Dual Trigger
DOP X-CORE 8 stage x-chamber
Lapco Bigshot 14" Beadblasted

Optional setup:
R/T
Dead on Blade trigger

really?, so... where you normally put your middle finger with a single trigger, you put a screw through there, on the guard?

So: #1: You drill a hole in guard above middle finger position.
#2: You twist the screw into place.

         &nbs p;   ^^ am i right with this?

It should look like the green 98, am i right?

Thanks

You want a forward trigger stop, not a back pull trigger stop. Tippmanns triggers trip the sear when all the way back. The only one which would be useful is a stop to prevent it from going all the way forward.
