    Posted: 09 May 2005 at 3:30pm

I was playing paintball this weekend and everything was going good but the my gun just started to shoot out co2, so i took off my hopper and i shot a few times. I relized that the cyclone feeder wasnt cycling. So i was wondering if that means that i just had not enough co2 or that something is wrong. Right before that i was hiding behind a dirtt pile and acidentally stuck the barrel in the dirt so it might just be that it has too much dirt in it. If so how do i clean the cyclone feeder.

Thanks in advance

You may just need to fill your tank.

If that doesn't work, the Maintenance Archive sticky has a bunch of suggestions for things that can make your Cyclone gimpy.

Good luck.

Mine will not feed if the CO2 gets too low. Push the piston and see if it cycles, if not... I would rebuild it.
Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken!

did you ever unscrew the cyclone off of the gun? if so there is a small screw on the right side of the gun that keeps the cyclone in place.  If it is not screwed in gas will come out of the hole and the cyclone wont spin.    (happened to me)

Depending on how often you play, you may need to replace the cyclone
feeder ratchet. I replaced mine twice so far, both times after about 6
months of playing 3-4 times per month.

Make sure the top screw in your cyclone is tight as well.  I had this problem last month.   The screw on top came lose and I just tighted it down and was good to go

most likely, if it was working fine, then stopped, your just opt of air. happened to me twice this past weekend. first time i had fired about 800 rounds through a mostly full 20 oz tank. then it stopped cycling atound. second time it did it i was out of air again. but it wasn't my tank. my remote had issuse. both times, i was out of air.
