paintball is not dress up in cammo and use guns that look like m4s. if u want that go join the army. paintball is what u see wen u watch a tourny or wen u watch dynasty vs. infamous. thats paintball not some dress up like we r in the army. cammo duznt work.

I don't agree. How did paintball start? 10 guys in the WOODs of new
England wearing camoflauge.Woodsball and milsim are the core and the
begginings of paintball, and that's not going to change.

Speedball isn't the end all and be all to paintball. I'm not into scenario games, and play only speedball variations like airball and xball, but woodsball has been and will be the foundation from which many people will get into it. Your statement above is rather narrow-minded. |

I concur. Without woods and milsim the industry would have gone down the drain. And beleive me when I say that more woodsballers own angels than speedballers. At least in my area they do. Can't play in the woods without seeing at least 10% of the players with an Angel or an X/E-Mag or Matrix or etc. (wearing cammies and using tactical vests) these days whereas most speedball fields I've played at I only see one or two. Maybe it's different elsewhere but from my experiance even speedball based industries need the woods to survive. |

Stratoaxe, I'm not expert at milsim guns, but having owned quite a few
markers and playing with a lot more others, I would personally go for a
Tippmann first. Why?
1. Tippmanns are proven platforms, with a huge user base (i.e. this forum board) to refer to. 2. Tons of easily installable upgrades are available for Tippmanns 3. Customization is simple, compared to customizing a marker that has everything already on it (how much of that stuff can you remove?) Just my thoughts... |

You should think about a 98 custom. They are very reliable and they can get upgraded and there are kits availible to make it look like an m4 or m16. Good luck.

98Cs never seem to look like a M4. No matter how much customizing they do. Buying a SIM-15 would work out better, especially because it comes STOCK looking like a M4.

ariakon has good guns dont listen to the people who cant have an open mind
A friend of mine has an ariakon mp5 (not the one in your post) and its awsome easy to clean very light and suprisingly accurate...id never heard of ariakon before he mentioned it and dident think it would suck..but i wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was...id still say a tippmann just cause i preffer them but ariakon is hardly crap getting one is anything but a mistake |

For all of you people who don't like recball or woodsball...think about this.... Playing speedball is like posting a quarter on a wooden board...placing it 60 feet away....wasting 300 rounds on it and bragging because you hit it ONCE. That my friends...is speedball....not as much skill involved...just lots of wasted money on paint. Play me in a game of woodsball....and all I need is one shot. |

Those are some of the best MilSim Mods ive seen in a while(for tippmanns). Even though they are great(I mean great), personally I like the look of SIM much better then them. |

Guys, chill. Paintball is shooting eachother with paintball guns. Some like to dress up in red dresses others like to blend into the scenery. Different people have different tastes.
