Whats more dense? Paintball gelitin, or metal? They get caked on residue and need to be refinished (blasted) from time to time. Clean it after you shoot it with a squirt of simple green and then lots of warm water and I doubt you will run into a problem, before you put down the Flatline for something more usefull.

Yes, it's true, but if you take care of it and clean it, it should be fine.

Yeah its true that they can wear out, after a ton of balls. But Tippmann said that they refinish the inside for free you just pay for it to get there. Sounds like a it is not a big of deal if you have a backup barrel. |

No. But the paintball will leave a residue from their shells on the inside of the barrel along the top. Soap, water, and a squegee will take care of that. The finish on the inside of the barrel will wear down over time, but as this will take more than 100,000 rounds, or about $2000 worth of paint. And since Tippmann will refinish it for free, how is that a problem? |
