Ion or impulse

impulse..basically ur asking should i get the lower or higher quality sp gun so get the impulse maybe on ebay you can find one selling with good upgrades 2

you, my friend, are an idiot.  How are saying the Impulse is a higher quality gun?  None of SP's gun's are junk...  The Ion is lighter, fast enough for CFOA(if you are playing past CFOA and have either of these, quit playing the game) and has break beam eyes(as opposed to the Imp's vision).  You need practically the same upgrades on both(barrell, reg, feedneck, and trigger).

Ion, hands down.

now now, the Ion does need a new barrell, even though with the Ion's stock barrell, it's sort of hit or miss, I know a lot of people with ions, 4 of the 5 needed new barrels, one of them shoots darts with the stock one.

Ion's efficiency isnt that great out of the box either, but still is better than the imps.

The ION realy has my attention but I played open ball today and the guys with the IONs really had alot of teething problems.  Thanks to a post I read from FOM from RATGuns, I was able to help them pinpoint issues.  Things like the sticker surrounding the on/off button keeping you from turning the gun on and air hose/barb leaks.

It really makes me hesitate to buy an ION.

Side note:  Guys with Angels also had alot of problems with their guns. 

Thank God I got a junky Impulse that just works flawlessly day after day, year after year.

It depends what kind of impulse?

If u were talking about base impulse over ion go with the ion.

But any PL Impy will kick the crap out of a ion. I know ive owned both. Rats, Stranges, and Nasty impys come with some of the best parts made availiable to impys and surely would be more consistent and faster than an ion.
