I just got my A-5 and noticed that when I really open up and fire as fast as I can I notice the pressure start to drop and then it uncocks it self. I have to unscrew the tank a little then screw it back and recock, then it would only fire 3 or 4 shots and the same problem would happen again...any advice???

sounds like your asa (air source adaptor) is not quiet right for your A-5. when you screw your tank in all the way,you end up pushing the pin valve in to far.some tanks are like that. try puting a tank o ring in your asa and than screw your tank on. hope that helps you
my A-5 setup,sp freak kit,pro-seal powertube,E-grip,cp 45* drop,polished internals,GTA lpk,palmers fatty stab.crossfire 45/4500 ,dye rhino cover,jcs duel trigger

If you are running CO2 it is likely that your high rate of fire cools the marker and the gas bottle to the point that the pressure drops off. (liquid CO2 converting to gas sucks up a terrific amount of heat...notice any frost forming on the marker or the bottle?) If you continue to fire, pressure drops so far that there isn't enough blowback force to cock the hammer. Screwing the bottle out and back in is likely just enough time to allow some warmth to bring pressure back up a little. Add an expansion tank, a remote setup or switch to HPA.

It sounds like it could be your bottle/ASA not engauging properly. Try someone elses tank.

Its also possible that shootdown is occiring, but
Iv never seen it this great outside of the winter time in cold temps. But I still think its your bottle/ASA because this rarly happens normaly.
