What's your cash flow like? How much money are you spending on a gun?

You have a huge spread of guns there-have you shot any of them? Do that first.

An Ion may fill your needs, but obviously something that's $1000+ will be better(although the extra $750+ might not be worth it to you for such a small difference).

The fact that they have plastic bodies isn't a big deal. You can always buy one of the Deadly Wind, FBM, or other aftermarket ones.

Proto.
Its a great gun. Its the same(mostly) as the DM4/5. The membrane pads, which is a problem on DM4/5s, is not a problem on protos.
Their fast, and once broken in, dectly efficent.

A off the board choice, will be an angel.
They're not hard to mantian. They're super fast. And very cheap because WDP is always releasing a new marker. Pick up a speed or A4 or A4 fly. For the speed and the A4, try to get one with an upgraded board(Fly, predator, WAS) and eyes.

Oops, i voted for the wrong thing, but anyways, go with most any kind of timmy.  They are flat out higher end then a lot of the oter guns you listed in my opinion.  I shot a dragon once and that thing could sling some paint and was really tight.  But yeah an Empire or Alias is good too, but i never even seen one in person.  Timmy's can be pretty expensive though

Dude, Cyborgs own. Period, end of story. I've seen newbs totally rip on them(last time I played, I got to bunker a guy with a Sonic Cyborg, a $200 Empire B with white shells, and some insane Empire gear-he totally sucked though, just had tons of cash to blow). They're great guns, and that price is literally insane. It has me thinking...
