is it possible to play without the little orange ball detent in the 98 custom...cuz i recently took mine apart and i cant find it. help

No, Id call tippmann, or check some online stores.
Or try really hard to find it. It would continue to feed balls, which sucks, I tried it. |

yea it wont work because i took apart my gun and forgot to put it back in. I didn't think it would hurt but at my next pracitice i couldn't really use it because it would shoot 3 at a time. so yea it wont work without it.

if the field your going to rents 98's you could always do the
underhanded thing and rent one, take it apart, get the detent from
there, and put it in yours. but thats just my mind telling me bad
ideas. you could always ask the field. im sure theyve got a bunch of
extras if they rent any kind of tippmann.

and i thought paintball was an honest sport. if the field rents any tippmann they will have detents on hand i believe all tippys take the same one but not sure they should be like 3 bucks

hey, some people will steal some stupid 25 cent items. i dont know why
its hard to throw down a couple bucks for something to make your gun
work right rather than just taking it, probably just cause people are
cheap by nature. and it depends on which d-day your talking about,
theres like 10 of them at different fields across the country, and
scheduling might push things around. the official anniversary of D-day
was on june 6, but alot places choose to put it off till summer.

you can always make your own detent.. its not hard. just takes a lot of electrical tape and time. i made my own when i couldn't find mine and it works perfect. just use small peices of wood for the bottom to keep it in place.

if u were to rent a gun it would cost like 15$ when u can just buy the detent for a couple of dollers and if u want the detent b4 d day go to a paintball store. Im going to the d day at skirmish this week |
