I would say they dont get ups.

Their markers already come that way. And I believe the have matrix boards in them and probably some mods to make the valve open easier, and the ram to travel less creating more potential for faster rates of fire.

GO BUCKS!!!

mos def.  I don't think anyone in this forum has actually put a matrix board in a tippy though.

Ok, I heard recently that they use Custom Pro E's with WAS boards(which are now on sale!!1) this basically makes it an E-Bolted 98 with a faster board and other small differences...

Here's the board description...

Equalizer board for Tippmann A5 and Pro-E markers. This is a drop-in replacement for the stock E-Grip and Pro-E electronics. Includes new removable solenoid (not shown in picture). Rate of fire is adjustable from 8bps to 30bps! Easy trigger programming and support for NPPL, PSP, and NXL firing modes! Yes, this is the same board that Tippmann Effect has been dominating with all season!

$80 for no solenoid
$100 for a solenoid

I'll be rockin' one in a few months as well!

At practice a factory WAS member told me TE is using WAS boards.  These boards actually make you faster than you really are and compensate for mis feeding due to hoppers.  The board logs trigger pulls and if you have a feed system that skips here and there it just makes strings faster.  When the balls become available it rips at the max rate including previous trigger pulls that didn't get a ball.

But..........The Tippmann EQ manual syas nothing about eyes.
