i just milled and spray painted my gun like 3 hours ago. The paint is still sticky. is it still drying? if so anything i can do to speed it up?

I'd give it a couple of days to harden.  I made the mistake of being in a rush on my 98.  I'll have to paint it again sometime.

You should provide at least 30 mins of drying time between each layer of
paint. I hope you removed all of the paint off your receiver after milling and
before painting too.

You should give it a layer, bake it in your oven on 100degreees for about 10-15 minutes, that'll give it a real strong finish.

should have used a primer, would have made the paint job a little... ahhhh, i cant find the word... it would have been "stronger" so to speak. it would give the paint a better surface to sit on
no brains, no headache...
