A side/rear cocking system is simply an attachment or modification that allows you to pull the cokcing handle from the side, rear, or wherever else it my work. It's purely based on taste.

A velocity adjustor is a screw-in dial that lets you change the velocity of your marker easily, without tools. It can be very useful.

An expansion chamber is a tube with several large chambers in it to allow liquid CO2 to vaporize prior to entering your marker. It helps your CO2 efficiency somewhat.

A regulator is a piece of kit taht will very precisely regulate the exact pressure of your air source- generally within 5 feet per second shot consistency for CO2, or 3 fps consistency for high pressure air. Most regulators won't handle CO2 well; the notable exception being the Palmer's Stabilizer regulator- if you plan to keep running on CO2, a palmers reg will be your best investment.

Hope that helps.

Yup, he actually said that.
