I just got my new Ion today, however I noticed the barrel scratched up after I screwed it in and out...I was wondering all you Ion owners did your barrel scratch up when you did this?

It scratched up on the threads or the barrel? on the threads i dont see why it would matter but i don't usually here that problem but then again i dont own an ion

Its probably just wear and tear of the threads, no biggie...besides, you'll be putting a new barrel on that thing soon enough anyways....right?

(1) Its on the barrel...aparantly it scratches up against the awkward bottom
