I just installed my response trigger into my 98c. Everytime I screw my
tank on its shoots CO2 out the end of the barrel and also it
leaks out of the 90 degree fitting. I made a point of sealing really
well buts I'm stilling having this problem.
Does anyone out there have any advice? |

did you use loctite or did you just try to crank it down, because
yesterday I tried the crank down method and it doesn't work at all, so
I had to go get some loctite.

You should never have to seal the fittings for the r/t, and even if you did you should use Teflon tape. I run my r/t just screwed into the powertube and the piston. Works fine.
If it's leaking out of the outside fittings then you have serious problems. Either it's not tightened enough (you can use a small wrench on the outside fitting above the grip to tighten it, and a big flathead screwdriver on the fitting by the valve) or something's cracked. Try tightening it up - NO LOCTITE. That may be CAUSING your leak. Read the posts in this forum - Loctite is not a pneumatic sealer. |

Loctite sux. Teflon tape is 1000x better, if ofcourse you use it right. Cock the gun first before you put on the gas, and drop oil into the ASA and fire just gas without the barrel to lube up the valve. Just sounds like the plunger is sticking or not sealing.

This is what happens when Im not around. Everyone says Loctite which sux, I always put it down and told people to use T.T. instead. Tippmann gives you Loctite in the RT kit and other kits because its easier to use than teflon tape. Yuck, hate it for sealing, only use it and love it for what its made for, keeping screws and bolts tight.

Valve is probably sticking, or It could be a bad valve.
