Hi. I cant get mt steel braided hose out of the ASA or the valve and I want to put on a drop forward. I tried heating it and using wrenches/clamps. I really don't want to have to buy a new valve. Any Suggestions?

Got a bench vise? Take out the screws to the ASA, put asa in vise (wrap it in a towel), put on wrench and turn. If it is hard, use a torch for a second.

If you have the correct fitting wrench on the braid fitting and the ASA clamped in a vise, there is virtually no way it will not come loose. I use red Loc-Tite and though it always requires effort and a wrench that fits (not an adjustable),  it comes apart. If you have taken it up in temperature so that it is just above too hot to touch it cannot stay together when you wrench it. At least on these parts.
