ok everybody, if you have an A-5 and you're tired of that stupid tank sticking out in the back, a remote line annoys you, and screwing your tank in vertically makes you gun unbalanced; listen up!
Unscrew the female end of your line acceptor, where u normally screw the tank in. A simple tool (that came with the A-5) will do the trick. Now the hard part...turn the acceptor backwards, it will turn the line but don't worry. Take a screw and insert it into that little hole in the acceptor, screw it into the gun. Now the acceptor is facing backwards. Screw your tank in and use an elastic cord or something to keep it secure against your gun! Now your tank is under your gun and out of the way. I strongly recommend this upgrade for offensive woodsball players, and ALL speedball players, even if you play back. |

what..so you mean the tank is facing the other way but still on the pistol grip I don't understand this bit can you explain more please? Now the hard part...turn the acceptor backwards, it will turn the line but don't worry. Take a screw and insert it into that little hole in the acceptor, screw it into the gun. Now the acceptor is facing backwards.

I'm confused to. I think he's mounting the tank horizontaly under the gun. If so wouldn't this make your gun front heavy? I would get a drop instead.

I think he is just saying to reverse the ASA. I've tried that. Some people seem to like it, but I found it very uncomfortable. Personal preference, I guess. |

1. Remove ASA 2. Turn ASA around 3. Reattach ASA |

Theres an upgrade you can get thats like $15 that allows you to mount it this way.
Without an "elastic cord" holding your marker together |

A helpful hint. When you write a little mod out like this, make sure you include pictures (even if they're drawn in paint)

You are correct - as to an A-5. For all other guns, my instructions work. For an A-5, add step zero: Buy bottomline adapter block. |

Well, you can do this without all the fiddling by taking the braided
hose off the A-5, taking the ASA off, and screwing the tank in
directly under the gun
