I just purchased an A-5 with these upgrades:

R/T
Expansion Chamber
Drop Forward
14" All American barrel

Here are my questions:

Is there anything special I need to do to it, since it has the upgrades?

I know you can oil an A-5 through where you put in the CO2 tank, but can I still do that with the drop forward?

I have a 9 oz tank (I know, way too small, but am about to upgrade) and I got a little less than two hoppers of paintballs with it. Do I have a leak, or am I just using too small of a tank for an A-5 with r/t?

Thanks so much!!

nothing special you need to do really with those upgrades.

the drop will not effect any oiling.
remember to oil you marker through the ASA (where the tank goes on) and dry fire a few shots to spread the oil through out the marker. take your barrel off first, you don't want oil in there.

9oz = whats that like 500 rounds? sounds right.

my 20oz used to get off around 800 shots when i was running stock like you are.

Thanks! I used to get waaay more paintballs on my old gun with my 9 oz, but I'll get used to it. It's worth it in performance.

nothing wrong with your CO2 consumption. As far as upgrades, it looks fine. Hoppes gun oil is the about the best oil you can get. I don't know why you would want to use anything else.
NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil.

I'm a lefty, so the hose going from my drop to my xpansion chamber really gets in the way. It's on the right side of the gun, which is the opposite of what it would be for me. It seems like you could switch it to the other side with the setup I have- is this something I could do myself, or should I have my local pro shop do it? I'm thinking the latter, because I'm not sure exactly what I need to do. Seems like it'd be a pretty cheap fix.
