Hi im new and i was wondering if yall could give me your opinions on which gun to by.  I cant decide between a Tippamnn 98 or an A-5.  I am more of the camper(stays and snipes) when i play, and i have heard that the A-5 is for more faster shooting. But, with the flatline it goes further so there for i want it for picking off from far distances.  Please give me your opinions on which gun is better, and I am somewhat new to the game(not that new).  So plz help

also, i dont know alot about the special parts so plz use simpliar words or add refrences to the special parts i might need.  I also forgot 2 say that another reason i want the A-5 is that i like the stock, flatline barell, and remote set-up.

yup or if you want to spend money on a barrel kit (diffrent size barrel backs for diffrent size paint). so like a 98 with evil barrel kit and remote it would be accurate but not as long of a range.

I'd go with the 98c. I had a friend who had a A-5 that he let me use and I chose my 98c over it. For 500$ you could have a sweet setup from scratch if u chose the 98 rout.

I think it is personnal preference. You should try both markers out and see for yourself which one you like better. They are both great for what you described.

Dude, a 98c can have the Flatline barrel too. There is barely any difference between the A-5 and 98Custom except the price. They are both just as (in)accurate and have the same distance. I think the 98c. is the best choice; it's less expensive, lighter, less complex, and has more then a few upgrades.

go for the A5 and get a E grip or R/T if u want the flatline. But just think about this even if u can shoot 100 feet longer than anyone, when the ball get to the guy 300 feet away when it hits him it will just bounce off him, so i would just get a custom pro with a e grip, and get a revvy, and a j&j ceramic barrel. I had an A5 with a flatline egrip, and some other stuff on it and i would have traded it for a 98 with a revvy any day

There really isn't a difference between the Model 98 and 98 Custom except that upgrade parts are so much easier to find for the Custom. Plus, the RT, E-grip, and Flatline I know for sure fit on the Custom.

The flatline, stock, remote line and Rt for that matter are availible on the 98c and custom pro as well as the A-5. Second, there are much more than a few upgrades availible for A-5s. The choice is yours but if you go with a 98, I'd get a custom pro because it sthe newer custom and e-bolts are hard to find for 98customs. Besides, I think that the as time goes on there will be more custom pro exclusive avilible upgrades.
