Don't you have to use high end paintballs for the flatline if you do get one? =expensive paint ??

I'd get the Bigshot. It's inexpensive, yet accurate. But yes, the Flatline is picky on paint, as where the Bigshot will shoot basicly anything.

you could always go with a hammer head they are pretty nice. but if u have just lapco BS or flatline i would have to say flatline for the distance and its good for brush shots n such if u like to sniper from brush. the flatline does require good paint but i found Dusk worked pretty well with my 98c flatline. plus its like 8.99 for 500

98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.

The Flatline is the Best Barrel to use in the woods, no matter what anyone says about it, it is the Best, it is Picky as hell on getting balls to work with it, but you'll just have to keep trying, and see which one it will except, But once you find that "special Ball" you'll love it, trust me its worth the heart ache. But it is up to you, Lapco Big shot is a Great Barrel too, what ever you decide, you can't go wrong. |

Three on the head, two on the Back, and one in the Bunghole. Thats how Woodsball is Played.

Flatline is cool but you will have to spend some time fine-tuning it. The Apex sounds like it could be interesting, but I know that I love my All-American.

It all counts on how large your playing field is. who needs distance in a fairly dense woods? Go accurcy over distance. Go with the bigshot |

Depends on your budget.
However, seeing that you are considering the Flatline, I would assume that you've got atleast a $100 to spend. In that case, I would advise the following: 1) 14" Stiffi one piece ($100-90) 2) 13" Armson Stealth ($80-70) 3) 14" J&J Ceramic ($30) ...and no I didn't put them specifically in order of expense, but order of MY preference. |

I would say Flatline but you need good paints for it. You also have to spend some time to tune it.

You dont need good paint for the flatline, but the better the paint the better results you will get.
My friend uses $30/2000 "CORE" through his flaltine wihtout any problems. |

I'd say Bigshot.
The flatty is nice, but after 200ft, that thing is worthless, its the extra 50ft worth $50, or would you rather buy the bigshot, and have $50 to spend on paint? ![]() |

Don't waste your money on a flatline. Buy a mid price barrels and find some paint that works with it (Zap Chronic) |

I say J&J or an ultralite if your feelin like you need to spend some money. All this talk that flatline increases distence is not THAT great you know... a single paintball going 200+ feet without hitting a tree, some bushes, a pinecone? Not to mention that it will slow down and decrease the chances of a ball breakage on contact. Just because it looks different, doesnt mean it makes a difference. |
