It takes quite a bit of tuning to find the sweetspot, and quite a bit of practice to consistently be able to hit and hold it. It's not a plug n play upgrade like the e grip would be. You'll find it in time. jj |

so how should i start out with it setting-wise? All it does is semi auto but no full which i want very bad. BTW im using a 98c response trigger so is there a way i can attach it to the A-5 and still use the cyclone. The guy who sold it said they were the same....

I have the A-5 RT, and I hear that there are different parts, and they are not interchangeable. But I don't have the 98c, so I don't know. As far as adjusting it, there is a tiny little set screw where the RT plugs into the grip. You will need a small screw driver to adjust it. Start off by turning it all the way in. When you fire it, the trigger should get harder to pull. This means there is no leaks. From there, you need to adjust that screw back out in quarter-turn increments until you find the sweet spot. Like I said, it will take a bit of practice, but it is worth it to have a semi-auto that can go to full at your command. BTW, Tippmann should have the manuals you need on their website. jj Edited by GRRWingNut |
