Plus many other prizes given out throughout the day!

* Winners must be present to receive prizes so be there early!

One of the most famous battles of history will be re-fought again at OA. The game will start with one HUGE battle, the Siege of Bastogne. 40 to 50 Allied troops (the 101st Airborne) must hold the town of Bastogne against overwhelming numbers (over 200) of angry, determined German attackers while Patton’s re-enforcements try to break through to the town. Tanks, mortars, bazookas, grenades and smoke will make our 2nd annual recreation of this epic battle awesome!

Last year over 350 players attended our first Battle of the Bulge event. During that game, we had some of the most incredibly intense and exciting paintball action ever! This year’s event will be bigger, better and much more exciting, and is limited to the first 500 players to sign up. All players will receive:

  • A  map of the field with names of towns existing in 1944
  • A commemorative barrel bag (special for this event)
  • A commemorative Battle of the Bulge II patch (special for this event)
  • A “Support Our Troops” wristband.

Additions we have in store for you this year:

  •  Paintball Tanks, including
    • The Armored Fist Panther from New York,
    • The Blue Falcon from New Jersey,
    • Bakrauf from Virginia
    • The OA Orgasmatron 6000
  •  PUGS, mortars and bazookas (nerf rocket launchers)
  •  Real rocket launches
  •  Radio synchronized ‘atomic’ clocks in HQs, Rejuvenation areas and at the Air Station so all players know true game time
  •  New props and structures
  •  More role players
  •  More interesting and varied missions, including Artillery missions and a Live paratrooper (hanging in a parachute harness) rescue mission

Schedule

     6:45 a.m.   Gates open

     7:30 a.m.   Registration & Air open

Actually... it's about par in regards to price. All things considered, I say the prices are actually low.

$25 pre-reg entry and air.
$50 for pre-ordered Field Paint (known brand)

Less than many produced games where you pay extra for air and get butt-raped for some crappy no-name/off-brand/factory-seconds paint.

One thing I didn't see posted was the date... Sunday Dec 11th.

Won't be making this one. Too many things going on, and too many expenses with the upcoming holidays. For those same reasons, I don't think many OMHW will be attending either (might get a couple there). But it sounds like a good one.
Hope it goes well. Glad to see they're throwing their own events instead of going with a seperate promoter.
