My friend ordered an a-5 awhile ago w/ the already installed response trigger, and after like the 4th shot his cylinder thing inside the powertube literally exploded. Anyways he got it replaced, the powertube and cylinder, and put it back together, but the response trigger doesnt work. we both tried messing w/ the air flow screw and everything and we cant even get a burst out. we were thinking maybe the r/t was improperly installed from the factory or when he replaced the powertube they sent him one that was not made for the response trigger. i personally have experience w/ a r/t, for which i installed one on my 98c and i can get mine to easily achieve full auto at an extreme rate of fire. i really appreciate any help, thanks. |

There could be a very small o-ring blocking the airway somehow, just check to make sure nothing is blocking the airway.

The rt is kinda tricky to adjust, gotta get it in just the right spot. All the components in the body of the gun are the same as a gun with no response. I agree, check for airflow problem, o-rings, lines on outside of gun for leaks, make sure your adj screw is sitting in the gun correctly.
