three fround burst is when for each pull of the trigger, three rounds(paintballs) are fired. It IS NOT legal in tournys.
Whether or not you can play as long as it is turned off, depends on how strict the tournement rules are. Most tourneys say that if you can change the mode on the field, without tools you cannot use the marker. |

It gives you a higher rate of fire without the effort. Imagine if you had an angel on 3-rd burst (if any of them have that option, which they probably don't....). You could pull 12 BPS on the trigger and max out the rate of fire on your gun to shoot strings of paint and block lanes with no problem.
It's just like ramping. Using Semi-only keeps it fair. Woot! 2K posts. Edited by Whazuuup! |

Haha, thanks! Yeah the Semi mode of the Custom Pro E will still be a lot faster than if you didn't have the E-trigger. Do a few quick trigger mods and I bet you can walk it in no time.

Ramping (just learned this the other day) is a mode of an electro, where if you hit a certain pulls-per-second on the trigger, it will automatically boost your rate of fire up with electronics. Kinda like a full-auto, but instead of holding down the trigger, you have to pull it repeatedly (at a lower rate than you're shooting)
So say you have a gun on ramping mode. You are pulling the trigger 5 times per second and are shooting 5 balls per second. Then, once you hit 6 pulls per second, your gun automatically starts shooting 15 balls per second. That's ramping. |
