well its not the GTA e-bolt. Probly that other off-brand one that so many people ave been having problems with.

Go drop $100 and buy a new board for it, it will be better in the longrun.

It is the Psycho Ballistics unit. It is a drop in for the M98 and a slight rework of the inside of the grip to fit the 98 Custom. I have this unit and the GTA unit. Some details are different but the components on the boards are virtualy the same. There have been no problems with these of which I am aware.

The Tippman GTA unit has a on/off switch on the externally mounted battery case...a good idea since my manual safety no longer functions with the trigger mods I made. Also, even the circuit board goes into "sleep" mode after 10 minutes there is always an ever so slight drain on the battery. Another reason for the switch. Nice touch that the M98 batteries go inside the grip.

I would add a toggle or push button on/off  switch somewhere in the battery wiring in the Psyco Balistics unit. Also, neither of the circuit boards (GTA or Psyco) like to get wet...the marker just quits...found out the hard way...missed an hour of play while drying and blowing off the circuit board after stupidly, though I thought carefully, rinsing sand off my marker.

BTW, $99 is a very good price! Note that the E-Bolt is miss-labeled as an E-Grip in the ad.

At times they have been made by BSI and Psycho Balistics. Then Tippmann. Presently no one is making them for commercial sale, but people do build them from scratch with parts from other electro/pneumatic markers.
