Sponsored by PMI and supported by dozens of industry manufacturers and distributors, 2006 is the 7th year Mackz Xtreme Sportz will bring its high-quality paintball scenario events to players of all ages nationwide.
January 28-29 – “Circle of Ossus” - Old River Paintball, Ocklawaha, FL. Inspired by the computer game “Age of Empires III”. February 18-19 – “Thumb-riders’ Guide to the Cosmos” - Low Country Paintball, Ludowici, GA. Inspired by the books of Douglas Adams (and the recent movie). February 25-26 – “El Imperio de la Luz Nueva” (“The Empire of the Light”) - Tactical Paintball, Harwood, TX. An original story about a large drug cartel taking over northeast Mexico; DEA and Border Patrol defend Texas first. April 1-2 – “Narnia” - SplatBrothers PaintBall, Hopewell, VA. Inspired by the books of C.S. Lewis (and the recent movie). April 22-23 – “War of the Worlds” - Paintball USA, Houston, TX. A version of this classic tale of alien invasion. May 6-7 – “Libria” - Realms of Ruin, Custer Park, IL (Near Joliet). Inspired by the movie “Equilibrium.” May 27-28 – “The Braveheart” - Wildfire Paintball, Madison, GA. A version of battles fought by the Scots and English. June 24-25 – “Conch Republic” - Old River Paintball, Oklawaha, FL. A “much fun and silliness” version of Key West’s attempt to secede from the United States. August 12-13 – “Battle of Serenity Valley” - Drop Zone Paintball, Lawrence, KS. Inspired by the Unification War from the TV series “Firefly.” September 2-3 – “Supers” - Herbies Paintball Games, Fernley, NV (Near Reno). Your favorite super friends and super villains square off. October 14-15 – “The Western Front” - SplatBrothers PaintBall, Hopewell, VA. A war of trenches and attrition. October 21-22 – “Empire of Fear” - Realms of Ruin, Custer Park, IL (Near Joliet). A vampire tale inspired by the book of Brian Stableford. November 4-5 – “The Spartan Project” - Camp Blanding MOUT CTF, Starke, FL. A version of the computer game “Halo.” December 1-3 – “Troy” - PMI’s Texas Throwdown IV, Tactical Paintball, Harwood, TX. A spin on the epic tale of Sparta versus Troy. Toga party!! By popular demand, Mackz Xtreme Sportz will be bringing a second game in their 2006 Empires series to Drop Zone Extreme Paintball Park in Lawrence, Kansas.
March 18-19 will find paintball players of all ages and from across the country getting their first taste of a "much fun and silliness" scenario that only MXS can cook up for them. The 26-hour game is titled "Office: Space" and is a combination corporate wars and Star Warz theme. Only a guy named Darth could be the CEO of the Galactic Corporation empire... Hey Snake6, I'll be at Narnia, too. Since we haven't officially formed our Old Man Militia team, yet, I'll be a guest member of DeadByDawn (www.deadbydawn.org). The unofficial O.M.M. are gonna be camping at the campground (travel trailer). Stop on by, and if you're old enough, have a beer or two or three.

Snake6...We've already rented a camper for the Narnia game. We'll probably be there by 1300hr on that Friday, preceding the game. We'll be the two old farts in the Aerolite camper, having fun being away from the wife and kids. Stop on by...Hopefully, we'll be right next to DeadByDawn. BTW, whats a PBA promoter??? Also, one of the days I'll be wearing my old BDU's (in leu of my SpecialOpsPaintball Fusion gear) and I proudly have my Tippmann Forum patch displayed on my left shoulder. |
