ive heard that when you use a A-5 flatline that it makes your gun chop. has anyone else had this problem

You can chop in any barrel. Now the Flatline specificly, it does chop more than a regular barrel if you dont' use good paint, but if you take the right precautions, then you shouldn't chop that much if at all. Use good paint, have the barrel clean, the barrel installed right, and have your velocity right and you should keep chopping to a minimum with the Flatline.

OK, First off, Chopping = bolt smashing the ball. Nothing to do with the barrel. Ball Break = when a ball explodes in the barrel due to mismatched sizing. The Flatline is more seceptible to ball breaks, you need small bore paint. |

The Flatline is also rougher on paint than a smooth barrel, and will cause more breaks if playing with brittle paint. But if you play with non-brittle non-huge paint you will be fine. The Flatline is actually more forgiving on paint size than smooth barrels, since you aren't trying to match exactly. |
