All right - I have an Angel 4 Fly that I bought very used. Questions: 1 - I have a small leak from inside the breach. When I open the breach it is fairly audible, otherwise only barely. Very slow, but definitely there. I think it is coming from the ram, right where the bolt pin sticks down. I haven't opened it up yet to investigate, but I will after tonight's game. Any pointers for what I should be looking for? Likely culprits? 2 - I have tried a bunch of different trigger vernier wheel settings, and am not quite happy with any setup so far. I've got my debounce on 12, which is the "official" recommendation from AOG. Any thoughts on comfortable/good trigger settings, in terms of pre-travel/post-travel? This is my first electro (other than the C3) and I don't have a lot of experience with trigger settings. 3 - My breach knob is missing. I bought one only to find out that it didn't fit. Apparently the one I bought for LCD/LEDs. Does anybody know what the model compatibility is? If I buy a knob for an IR3, will it fit my Fly? 4 - Same question for a snatch grip. I bought one, only to find that it didn't fit. Annoyance. Will an IR3 snatch fit my Fly? 5 - Anything else I need to know, about Angels or electros in general? I am definitely learning on the Fly here (sorry), and all pointers are appreciated. :) |

well i know that leaking usally means you have to lub somewhere. and im pretty sure that the ir3 and the speed are not compatable. as for trigger setting you just have to play with it alot. youll get the hang of it. try different settings and ajust the set screws lil by little. takes some time but when you get that perfect trigger pull ull be happy with it. hope i helped a lil...
