on the tippmann page, it says X-Chambers improve accuracy. Is that
actually true? cause i know they help consistency and reduce/eliminate
freezing, but do they actually improve accuracy?

Yes and no. Does it improve accuracy in the sense like a new barrel or something would?, no. Now it does improve your accuracy, due to the improved consistency of your marker. See, the more consistent your gun is, the more consistent your shot to shot accuracy is going to be. That's how I look at it. :> |

An expansion chamber will help to provide more consistant propellant to the valve, meaning that your paintball gun will shoot a more consistant pattern of shots, and therefore your gun will hit the same target more consistantly (excluding factors like wind, etc).

I'm not too familiar with expansion chambers, but if they work like Palmer's stabilizers and regulates the amount of air, then yes it should improve your accuracy IMO.
