It currently looks like a huge wreck, but I have faith that you will make it look sharp to the eye once you are done with it

There is no paintjob on it... it bare aluminum. But since you guys hate the "paintjob" so much, send me some $, and we'll get that sorted out. ^^And Flyguy, I would like to make a centerfeed, but there really isn't enough material to thread into. |

Yes but his link was to Fireball mountain and they don't advertise on that site that they do powdercoating...just anodizing and laser engravings and such... Red powdercoat would look VERY hot though...I wouldn't change it (keep the front grip), I would just clean it up and smooth it out so that it's nice and clean and then powdercoat...and maybe do a quality centerfeed job like drill and tap to accept a feed neck...but other than that I think it's very unique and it's perfect the way it is. You're 100% right. But, we are talking about powder coating, not anodizing. ^^And I was thinking about completely taking off the front handle, but I came across 2 see-able problems. 1. If I were to make it flush to the rest of the body, I would take off the one remaining elbow mount... And I don't plan on making a ghetto centerfeed. 2. I'm planning on doing a 90* front grip some how... so I need the grip. Any other ideas guys are welcome. If you got a sick idea, throw it out there. Right now I'm thinking about the 90* foregrip, and a removable frame. |

Really nice job on the milling. One thing though. Somebody
suggested that it looks like a tube with a hopper attached, and that's
true, but why keep the handle if you're gonna go ahead and do all that
work? Not a criticism, just curious.
Good work though! Can't wait to see it painted. |
