Why r u guys home on a Sunday??Can't afford to go play? What about someone restricting the profit on paintballs by the fields so everyone could afford to go down to the fields more often.Or like bring your own paint fee or just no charging as much.EX.: E.T. PAINTBALL:

$85.00

Case (2000) of Field Paint Due to masive increase in delievery charges - beyond our control. Paint prices have gone up.

NO DEALS ON BUYING BULK???

LIBERTY PAINTBALL $70 (2000 ROUNDS)

ON TARGET PAINTBALL $40-$50 (2000 ROUNDS)

SKIRMISH PAINTBALL $99 (2000 ROUNDS)

HORNETSNEST PAINTBALL $65-$75 (2000 ROUNDS)

WWW.ACTIONVILLAGE.COM EVIL PAINTBALLS $50-$57

You don't need a good marker to play paintball but u definably need the paintballs. Some kids they only have their local field to play & if that field is going to charge them all this money for paintballs their parents probably not going to support the sport.I was able to give my little brother a marker for x-mas & afew upgrades here & there but i can't afford to go to the field every weekend & spend sometimes over $200.Do we support a sport for all society of just for does can can afford it.Do u guys think this could have an impact on the future of the sport?

if the skirmish your talking about is the one in PA then thats whats driving me away from them.  most of the time i pay about 35 a case for rec. play or practice and around 45-65 for tournaments.

You are right the paintballs are expensive. I have started a field for  the boys to play. They get their own paintballs (usually scorch from walmart) I fill their co2 tanks for what it costs me to fill my big tank, i bought a chrono to keep the guns set, we have built bunkers out of logs, skids, and rocks. It has cost me a little to get the tanks and chrono but boy do we have fun playing and the parents like the boys are outside doing something. E ven saving this we can not afford to play as often as we want but usually every 2-3 weeks and there is anywhere from to 20. our next one is 2/18 and there are 17 right now.

this is another reason I am on here asking about repair problems. I try to fix the guns for the boys to save money from the pro shops. It is like you said with all the combined expenses their are a lot of people not playing. My son is 14 and when we have a party and everyone gets together his buddies buddies my buddies and other people that heard about it it is a blast. we always build a bon fire everyone brings snacks to share and a whole lot of shooting. I am sure my son will remember these days as will I.

My brother is 14 to, i see that u r trying to use paintball as one of the million advantages that it has one of them being bringing families together for quality time.In paintball theres no age boundaries. My father was in a civil war in zimbabue, i went to the army in portugal and my brother never understood what the army is.Now he still doesn't understand it but because of paintball he understands the power of communication, team work and physical preparation. We finally found a common recreation for our age difference,he even brings is friends how cool is that.Your field is around 155 miles from me,bummer

Also try to find some pro shop that can sponsor you with like a pass were u can get a promotion discount on repairs on like after 5 cases of paint.Or the town or county could post your events on their website with the free publicity for your sponsor(pro shop).Free publicity=free stuff.

http://www.epodunk.com/cgi-bin/genInfo.php?locIndex=13822

Also your local TV station covers it were banners & t-shirts from your sponsor r visible.

Good luck.
