Ok, then seal between the barrel and the connector has come loose. I'd contact Tippmann and find out what bonding agent they suggest to reconnect it, or if you want to go it on your own, I'd suggest red Loctite to reattach the barrel and the shroud.

Loctite is not adhesive, and it won't work. Either send the barrel back to Tippmann, or use some 5 minute epoxy to seal it in place.

Uhh...isnt there a screw in the reciever that you have to loose'n to
get the barrel out? There should be a little itty bitty hex screw you
have to loosen.

It's not *rivited in*. Take another look. If you remove your shroud from the barrel (2 screws), there is a small set screw in the rear (closest to the valve) threaded shroud hole. You can actually do this without removing the barrel from the gun. You'll need a small hex wrench in there to remove or retighten it (similar to what Legion said). |

Ahhh thank you. It was hard to understand what you where saying. So all you need to do to fix this is remove the hex headed screw closest to the A5. Push the barrel all the way in and look down inside the hole the screw was in. You will find a set screw with about a 3/32 or so hex head (mine has some metal shavings inside that was not making it easy at first) tighten it up. I dont think that taking this all the way out and putting lock tight in there would be a good idea Edited by Tealin - 28 February 2006 at 11:53am |

To remove the barrel you should loosen all the hex head (allen) screws on the barrel end of the gun, the two littler ones, and the bigger one that goes through to the gun to the cyclone.
