I'm going to be buying a brand new A-5 soon, but I want to get an x-chamber for it. People have told me the palmers instead. I would like to know how much the palmers is, and would I have to order it online? If I had to order online, I might not be able to. Don't you just love parents?
The price might also be a problem because I'm on a bit of a tight budget right now. I'll be using it several times before it gets warm again, depending on my friends. I would also like to conserve C02 and I heard x-chambers and stabalizers are the way to go. Thanks in advance.

98% of all kids have tried some kind of drugs by the age of 13. If you are one of the 2% that haven't, put this in your sig.

The Palmer Stab runs about $85 average and you can get it here http://www.countysports.com/shop/product.php?productid=2460& amp;cat=281&page=2 . It appears that County has them on sale.

Pick up a used stock autococker regulator off some kid on PBNation that thinks he has to upgrade. They work great with co2.

Ok thanks, but I didn't say this clearly in my first post. I needed to ask if i should get an x-chamber for now, or if the palmers was that much better. If I saved for the palmers, I'd still get a barrel and prolly a trigger up before I would get it. If i went for the x-chamber, I'd prolly get it after the barrel. It would also be months until I'd get the palmers. So let me know what you think, and, once again, thanks in advance.

The male palers stabilizer is alot better than any x chamber. Dont waste your money on an x chamber save it all up and then buy a male palmers stabilizer

you might as well order the "Palmer Stabilizer kit for Tippmann A-5". That is the male Palmers Stabilizer regulator w/90 degree elbow, and the 9" steel braided gas line included. All this for only ...... $96 + shipping/handling.

The fact of the matter is that your Tippmann will work just fine using CO2 without an expansion chamber OR a regulator (which is what a Stabilizer is). Both x-chambers and regulators will help increase your shot consistancy, and prehaps and increase your shots per tank somewhat. It's mostly a choice of how much money you want to spend on it.
