Well after hours and hours of work, i decided to paint it and be done with the labor intensive project of making a y grip for the a-5.  Its not perfect, but its very sturdy and comfortable.  I could have smoothed out the grip a lil better but i honestly didnt think it was worth it.  I think thats because i cant quit day dreaming about my Pneumatic 'mag conversion that im going to start next week.

Well at any rate heres my a-5 with a stock barrel... soon to be forgotten in my "back up gun drawer"

Pneumatic Automag, x-valve, ULE trigger kit, Chimera frame, q loader, freak barrel system. Batteries are for the WEAK.

if i was gonna do anything like that, i would put in a pnuematic sear-tripping system that would lower trigger pull wieght to near 2-3 ounces, drop trigger pull length to 1/32"-ish, never need batteries and only syphons small amounts of air from the HPA tank... BUT the real problem is that the grip is now one solid peice, not two... which would make servicing anything that goes wrong impossible without making a new grip each time you need to change a fitting or whatever...

Somebody needs to take a cue from AGD here and see how good of a response these y and z grips get and make one for the a-5.  But then again thats a speedball crowd... and the a-5 is most widely used as a woodsball gun...

looks a bit awkward on the wrist but hey if you like it keep it

consider a double trigger

if you put 500 dollars into an A5 it is still an A5

a y-grip is a grip origanally designed by agd, it just makes the grip go inward instead of backwards....... their more compact, good for speedball cuz you have more room

edit-o yeah i forgot, nice gun man.....
